Senior Fraud Protection & Advocacy Seminar

Senator Erica Harriss and Representative Amy Elik invite area seniors to attend a Senior Fraud Protection & Advocacy Seminar on Monday, April 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Asbury Village, 5201 Asbury Lane in Godfrey.

Hosted in partnership with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, this informative seminar will provide practical tools to help seniors prevent consumer fraud and identity theft scams. Attendees will learn how to recognize potential fraud attempts, take steps to stop scams before they happen, and access resources such as the Attorney General’s Senior Help Line.

An expert from the Illinois Department on Aging will also be present to discuss available services and answer questions.

This free event is designed to empower seniors with the knowledge and resources they need to protect themselves and their personal information.
