State Senator Jason Plummer (R-Edwardsville) and State Senator Erica Harriss (R-Glen Carbon) will host an End of Session Town Hall event at the Edwardsville Gun Club on Tuesday, May 30.
“Since being elected, I have always been committed to keeping my friends and neighbors up to date on what is happening in Springfield. As their voice and ears at the capitol, a duty I take seriously, it is also my job to make sure I am constantly seeking their input and feedback to make sure they are well represented,” said State Senator Plummer. “I look forward, as always, to more townhalls and events aimed and insuring, at least in our neck of the woods, government is working for the people, not the other way around.”
Both Senators will provide an update on legislation that was passed during the 2023 Spring Session and hear from members of the audience.
“Constituent services is incredibly important to me and this is a great way to hear about legislative matters that were brought forth in the Senate,” said Senator Harriss. “It’s also a great way for your voices to be heard on issues that matter the most to you so we can advocate on behalf of you during the next session.”
The town hall will be Tuesday, May 30, from 6:30PM until 8PM at the Edwardsville Gun Club located at 4104 Staunton Road, Edwardsville, IL 62025. To register for the event, email PBunte@sgop.ilga.gov.
